My name is Yasmin Akarcali, and I am from Orange County, California. I have studied Nutrition Science at Syracuse University. I am 23 years old and currently working as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for a big Pharma company. I have a very busy work schedule; I drive daily to hospitals and have meetings with doctors. Going on weekend getaways is the best way to escape my stressful work environment. I enjoy going on vacations with a big group of people.
This year, I attended the Coachella festival in Indio, California for the second time. Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival takes place about two hours away from Los Angeles, California. It is in the middle of the desert, the weather gets extremely hot during day time but extremely cold at night. The weather situation makes it hard for people to choose their outfits. The festival happens once a year, and people see Coachella as an escape from the reality of the world. It is a great place to relieve stress, listen to music by world-famous artists, and see amazing art pieces. People usually wear colorful and fun outfits/costumes for the festival to show their uniqueness, style, and personality. Coachella is a judge-free zone, so it is a safe space for everyone to express themselves however they want.
The festival is an art in general. Every stage, music, building, and especially everyone who attends the festival is a piece of art. It is where creativity meets with colorful personalities. It is almost impossible to see basic people. It is a place for unique people passionate about music and art. You can guess that I’ll be there again next year. ��
