The naive, sensitive, and privileged souls of ArtTModern Miami! Greetings. How are you? I am on a long vacation. I am in the Aegean. In the Aegean, the turquoise blue waters and the warming sun make you wish summer never ends.
Today, while watching the sea and people on the beach, the summer of September took shape in my mind spontaneously. When I returned home, I started writing without a break.
Namely; The people we think we are walking the same path together, actually accompany us only as far as they are going.” The problem that I and everyone around me have been emphasizing lately.
Is it because of the changing human relations after the pandemic, or is it something that has always happened in reality, something that people experience when the time comes? What do you think about this?
For some, it is perceived as letting down or being let down.
Maybe you were not let down. Maybe you could not meet the other person’s wants and needs. Maybe you did not struggle enough to move forward, improve, and update yourself.
Whatever the reason, in the end, one can find oneself at this crossroads.
Think of yourself as a public vehicle. As the vehicle progresses, there will be many people traveling with it. A Chinese proverb that says if you want to know a person, set off with them!
It is only when you are on that road that you realize whether they are right or wrong for you. You can only realize whether they are right or wrong by giving them equal time and chances. Some will make you move forward and some will make you slow down. Hasn’t the same thing happened to you?
This is why there are forks in the road in our lives. Crossroads are painful; they make you who you are. It even causes the other person to clean up their act. Our paths have crossed with these people for a reason. Just as you have a lot to take and learn from him/her, he/she will have a lot to take and learn from you. The only difference is that one of you wants to move faster on this path. The other either is standing still or has a little more time. There will be those who will associate this with fate. This has nothing to do with fate.
For example, according to Shams of Tabriz, “Destiny does not mean that our lives are predetermined. Therefore, it is a sign of ignorance to bow down and say, “What to do, this is my fate”. Destiny does not give the whole path, only the forks in the road. The route is clear, but all the twists and turns belong to the traveler. So, you are neither in control of your life nor helpless in the face of it…” (One of the 40 rules of Shams of Tabriz)
One morning you wake up with the feeling of changing your world. I don’t know if it was a dream you had or if you slept with your shirt on, but nothing is the same after that morning.
You meet another you. Sometimes you even introduce the new you to people. You cross new roads, detours, and bridges. The books you read, the movies you watch in the cinema, the songs change… wait, it’s not over yet, even the city you live in has changed.
We are born alone, we live alone, and we die alone. We only temporarily experience the illusion that we are not alone through love and friendship. Human beings are fragile and naive. Most of the time he clings to his past. He lives in the past and shapes his surroundings around this past. However, the day he meets the real me, the past is in the past. He doesn’t look back again. Because there are roads to travel, and a whole forest to explore.
For God’s sake, who among us hasn’t burned Rome? Me, for example! I don’t know how many Romans I’ve burned.
Which one of us has not forgotten the times when we were blinded and started all over again? Do you think history repeats itself and our lives don’t?
Therefore, if there is Rome to burn, burn it, if there is a city to change, change it, open the door to new loves, do good deeds for no reason and please take that new path.
New city, new people, new mornings and a completely different you…this is the time when you shout out new things. When you leave behind the resentments you have hidden in the deepest corners of your heart.
You will see that this is your path. Of course, there will be those who welcome you. They may even tell you this at that crossroads:
Welcome to the club of those tired of repeatedly going through the same things and expecting different results! What else will you buy?
There is no room for fear at this crossroads where you have been brought and left to make new choices. These are the times when the wheat is separated from the chaff when the harvest is already done.
These are the times when you leave behind all the old and outdated emotions you have been taught until today and rewrite your constitution.
These are unique times when you leave behind the lies you told in the past, step out of your shadows, and walk with your head held high.
This may be the last of the clean pages you have drawn. Who knows?
You are not young anymore. It is good to be young, but the young have never traveled with experience. That’s why it is said that while you were coming that way, I was going back. Your priorities become different, your choices become simpler, and your loneliness increases. It seems like you decrease, but you multiply with yourself. With those who do not look from this perspective, you separate at that crossroads. Either they leave you or you leave them. Suddenly you hear a voice saying that the last stop. This is the end of the journey; your inner voice says.
You walk away without looking back for the last time. Afraid of being stuck in the past if you do. Believe me, at that moment, you may be watching your experiences passing before your eyes like a movie for the last time.
In your suitcase, you only have your experiences, your experiences. In your mind, the healing thoughts you repeat every night before you fall asleep;
1. I deserve it!
I deserve happiness, abundance, love, and good health.
2. I accept!
I accept to learn and learn from difficult situations, but not to dwell on them and the past.
3. I allow!
I allow myself to be beautiful, to be joyful, and to receive the good that comes.
4. I love!
I love life with its dark and light sides, people with their dark and light sides, and myself with my dark and light sides.
5. I choose!
I choose what is right for me, what doesn’t hurt, what doesn’t hurt, what enlightens me, what gives me peace, and what makes my path easier.
6. I forgive!
I forgive in order not to carry the past as a burden, to free myself, in order not to tire my heart.
7. I invite!
I invite more wisdom, understanding, fun, travel, new friendships, and exciting experiences into my life.
8. I am thankful!
I give thanks for all the goodness and beauty I can see and all the goodness and beauty I cannot see yet.
9. I release!
I release what needs to go, what needs to end, and what has expired to make room for the new.
10. I believe!
I believe in miracles, that I am protected, that only what is right comes into my life and what is not right goes away.
My body, the cells in my body, and my organs will be healed in line with these healing thoughts.
I deeply believe and accept this.
