I believe in miracles. The strongest proof that sustains this belief is simply looking at the sky each morning. The slow migration of clouds, the rhythm of seasons, the mathematical perfection of nature…

In that moment, I gently withdraw my mind from the chaos of the world. I stand in silent reverence before the workings of the universe, the invisible force, the divine power of the Creator. And then something happens. You may call it magic. The energy shifts. The field expands. Attraction begins.

Years ago, I was in one of the busiest periods of my brand; the label that carries my name and was born from my paintings.

It was December 2015. New Year’s Eve approaching. At the same time, my life was moving between two continents; one foot in America, one in Turkey. I stood on the threshold of a major transformation. Yet I worked obsessively to avoid thinking about its consequences. When a person decides to change their life, chaos accompanies courage. The best remedy is work.
That year, I felt compelled to create a minimalist yet timeless New Year capsule collection. My inspiration was clear: Audrey Hepburn.

Audrey Hepburn
She represents elegance, simplicity, and a poised inner strength. Especially the black dress in Breakfast at Tiffany’s ; not merely a style, but a manifesto of character.
For me, Audrey symbolizes the ability to maintain measure within magnificence. And yes, I have always felt spiritually close to her essence. Perhaps women born under the same zodiac sign truly resemble one another. Many have compared me to Audrey over the years; it remains one of the greatest compliments I have ever received.

The mini collection came together quickly with my small yet devoted team. Classic knee-length black dresses, evening gowns, a strict palette of black, red, and white ; no other colors allowed.

The inner linings of the dresses were entirely covered in eye motifs. Because my brand motto has always been clear:
“Eyes are always on you.”

Two days after the collection launched, my phone rang. The caller was the stylist of a journalist and TV host. An urgent, classic, elegant dress was needed. A very special guest was coming to Istanbul.
“Sean Hepburn Ferrer is arriving,” she said.
“Audrey Hepburn’s son.”
I cannot describe my initial shock. The happiness arrived a few seconds later; first, I recognized the universe’s subtle sense of humor. A dress from the collection was sent. It was chosen. It was worn on the program. I attended the filming as well, wearing a piece from the same capsule.

Mr. Ferrer was one of the most elegant gentlemen I have ever met. That day, I did not only gain a beautiful memory; I also signed an important agreement that opened a new door in my career. While creating that “Audrey” collection, what kind of magnetic field had formed that only two days later such an opportunity appeared and within a week I found myself in the same frame as the son of the woman who had inspired me?

Had she not passed away, perhaps she herself would have been there. Life is fascinating. I call this The Power of Thought. This is why I leave no room in my life for negative energy. The energy of the mind designs the architecture of destiny.
Part of this text was published years ago in Berlin. I am sharing it again today because I stand at the edge of another personal transformation. A new phase of my life is beginning. Sometimes we need to hear our own words again.
When I look back, I see different women across the chapters of my life. Each powerful in her own domain. Each carrying a distinct story. I walk through myself as if strolling through a gallery. In every room, there is another Tuğba:
- The young girl with a leadership spirit rooted in her family heritage.
- Mother Tuğba ; whose compassion can suspend time.
- The hostess who transforms a table into a stage and a home into atmosphere.
- The painter who speaks silently through color.
- The fashion designer who dresses cities and countries, who understands the memory of fabric and unites elegance with discipline.
- The immigrant to America; uprooting and replanting herself with courage.
- The journalist and writer ; using words as keys.
- The film producer ; not merely dreaming, but realizing visions.
- The award-winning Tuğba ; who knows the true prize is transformation.
- The woman flying from country to country; sometimes to receive awards, sometimes simply to applaud life.
- And the Tuğba selected as “Inspiring Woman of the Year” in England ; the woman standing on that stage was the same one who greets the sky during her morning walk.
Perhaps these women would not recognize one another on the street. But they would certainly nod in acknowledgment. Because every version of me shares the same key: a sincere smile. It has always been the door opener.
And now, I remind myself once more:
Believe in miracles. Because they happen every day.
Perhaps what we call a miracle is simply our own transformation.
