Bu art\u0131\u015fa sebep olan etmenlerin ba\u015f\u0131nda, geli\u015fen teknoloji ile birlikte \u00e7ocuklar\u0131n hareketliliklerin k\u0131s\u0131tlanmas\u0131, beslenme al\u0131\u015fkanl\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131n ve besin tercihlerinin de\u011fi\u015fmesidir<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c7ocuklarda obezitenin tan\u0131s\u0131nda basit, uygulanabilir, ucuz ve g\u00fcvenli bir y\u00f6ntem olan v\u00fccut kitle indeksi kullan\u0131l\u0131r. \u00c7ocuklarda yeti\u015fkinlerden farkl\u0131 olarak v\u00fccut kitle indeksi ya\u015fa ve cinsiyete g\u00f6re de\u011fi\u015fiklik g\u00f6stermesi nedeniyle beden kitle indeksi persantilleri vard\u0131r. Bu e\u011frilere g\u00f6re 85 persantil \u00fczerinde olanlar fazla kilolu, 95 persantil \u00fcst\u00fcnde kalanlar ise obez olarak s\u0131n\u0131fland\u0131r\u0131l\u0131r. Di\u011fer bir kolay y\u00f6ntem ise boya g\u00f6re a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131k \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcm\u00fcd\u00fcr.
